The stormy relationship between famed English poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge (Linus Roache) and William Wordsworth (John Hannah) is the subject of this lushly filmed period piece from director Julien Temple. Coleridge recounts the early days of their friendship -- from temporarily living the country life together to his own eventual addiction to opium, which fueled his writing of "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and spurred Wordsworth's jealousy .

It's a story set on a college campus about two students, Zeke (Burns) and Auggie (Cornwell), who are fighting over Laina (Bingham), a woman who's just discovered she likes her girlfriend, Holly, better than any man. Zeke and Auggie are assigned to make a movie as a class project, so they make a film called, "The Private Public". After their film, they find another use for their moviemaking skills when they try to frame a professor, played by Lincoln's own Ross Brockley, who has molested one of their girlfriends.

When the clouded line that divides two sides of society is crossed, it's hard to turn back. A bartender is dissatisfied with his financial situation and relationship with his stripper girlfriend. While out clubbing with best friends-a rookie stockbroker and recovering drug addict, and a suburban rich kid, the trio witnesses a drug bust. The dealer drops a package of ecstasy pills on the dance floor before the cops get to him, however, and they retrieve the package. Seeing this as an opportunity to make some fast cash, the friends decide to approach notorious neighborhood gangster Paul Diaz offering to distribute the drugs for him in their community. Diaz accepts and the three young men soon find themselves commanding a burgeoning criminal operation. Encouraged by their immediate success, Kevin's greed surfaces and he increases the volume of their operation while relapsing into his past cocaine addiction. But as payday approaches, the friends come to realize that visiting the other side comes at a high price.
